DRS zone number one will come on the start/finish straight, with the one second margin between cars being measured after the last corner. On the long back straight which heads towards Turn 4, the Drag Reduction System can then be redeployed, with the one second margin between cars being measured on the uphill entry to the third corner.
The second DRS zone has been extended by 80 metres in a further bid to aid overtake after a processional inaugural Grand Prix one year ago.
