The former DTM driver, who joined Williams last year, has played a significant role in the development of last year's Renault-powered FW34 and will be the first to drive the FW35 car at the Idiada test circuit in Spain.
"I really enjoy my time working with Williams and feel very much at home here," Wolff explained. "Increasing my role this year will further this progression and I can’t wait to get behind the wheel of the FW35 for the first time next month."
"I’m showing that women can play a role at the top level of motorsport and would like to thank Sir Frank Williams and the whole of the technical team for the trust they continue to show in me."
Williams F1 will take part in the first pre-season test in Jerez on February 5, running its 2012 FW34. The team is scheduled to unveil its 2013 challenger, the FW35, on Tuesday February 19 at the Circuit de Catalunya in Spain.
