The Polish driver drove the rally car after his crash at the Ronde di Andora in Italy more than one and a half year ago, which so nearly took his life.
The outing came during a four-day Ford WRC test on streets between Reims and Paris. Yet neither the Ford team nor management of the former Formula 1 driver has commented over the matter.
Kubica has been out of action in F1 since the high-speed accident in Italy, in which the Skoda rally car he was driving was impaled by a metal roadside barrier. Just days earlier at a pre-season Formula 1 test in Valencia, the Pole had set the fastest time for Renault.
