Button Denies Negative Comments About Hamilton

McLaren driver Jenson Button has denied claims that he fired criticism back towards Lewis Hamilton. It has been said that Button mentioned that Sauber's Sergio Perez, who joins the 2009 World Champion next year at McLaren, would not have been late for a media gathering as Hamilton was in South Korea.

After a reporter relayed his words of, ‘Sergio wouldn’t have been late’, Button denied saying such a thing.
Speaking to Reuters, the Englishman said: “I didn't say a word of that. He (the reporter) said that Lewis feels like he's left the team. I don't think Lewis feels like that either. It's amazing how people are so opinionated about what they see happening within this team with the drivers. None of it is true in the slightest. The atmosphere in the team is fantastic and, as far as I see with Lewis, he's focused and wants to win races.”

A while ago, Hamilton apologised to Button after claims that Button had 'unfollowed' Hamilton on Twitter, while he had in fact never followed Hamilton.
