Sebastian Vettel's Road To Glory In 2012 (VIDEO)

The 2012 title fight went down to the wire, with Red Bull Racing's Sebastian Vettel winning this year's Drivers title. It has been a challenging season for the German after his struggles in the first part of the season. In 2010, the 25 year old had to deal with Ferrari's Fernando Alonso for the first time, beating the Spaniard to win his first World title in Abu Dhabi. In 2011, the man from Heppenheim managed to secure his second World title in Japan, the fifteenth round of nineteen Grands Prix in 2011. This season at the last Grand Prix of the year in Brazil, Vettel and Alonso were again the last men standing. Alonso was required to finish on the podium in Sao Paulo to still have a chance of winning the title, knowing it was not in his hands. The Ferrari man finished second ahead of his team mate Felipe Massa. However, Vettel finished sixth, enough to capture his third consecutive F1 title and becoming F1's youngest triple World Champion in Brazil.
