United States Grand Prix - KXAN Review (VIDEO)

KXAN reviews yesterday's United States Grand Prix, which was won by McLaren's Lewis Hamilton. The Englishman, who will race for the Woking-based outfit one last time in Sao Paolo next week before heading to Mercedes, ended Sebastian Vettel's winning streak at the brand new Circuit of the Americas. On lap 42 of the race, Hamilton overtook the German on the long straight with use of his DRS. The Brit, who won the last United States Grand Prix in 2007 in Indianapolis, took his fourth victory of this season. With Vettel's only title rival Ferrari's Fernando Alonso finishing third in Austin Texas, this year's title fight will be decided in the last race in Interlagos in Brazil. Alonso is currently 13 points behind Championship leader Sebastian Vettel. If the German fails to finish in next weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix, the Spaniard is still required to finish on the podium to win the 2012 F1 World title. The 2012 title fight will go down the wire at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace circuit in Sao Paulo Brazil. The Brazilian Grand Prix has proved to be one of the most thrilling and exciting Grands Prix on the F1 calendar. With it being the last Grand Prix of the year, it has always been one of the memorable ones. F1 championships that were won in Interlagos, are the ones to remember. In 2007, then McLaren team mates Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso were fighting for the World title, but Kimi Räikkönen surprised many by clinching the 2007 F1 World title. One year later, Ferrari's Felipe Massa took victory in front of his home crowd, but lost the 2008 F1 World title to McLaren's Lewis Hamilton in a dramatic finale. With this year's F1 Drivers Championship unfolding at the Brazilian Grand Prix, Formula 1 is set for yet another enthralling end to a memorable season.
