Valentino Rossi Returns To Yamaha (VIDEO)

After two disappointing seasons with Ducati, Valentino Rossi heads back to the Yamaha Factory team, re-joining Jorge Lorenzo at the Japanese team. The dream of an Italian legend winning races on an Italian bike never came true as Rossi struggled to get the grips with the Ducati Desmosedici for the past two years. His best result with Ducati was at his home Grand Prix at Misano, where he finished second, 4,398 seconds behind Jorge Lorenzo. Earlier this year 'The Doctor' agreed a two year deal with his former team, replacing American Ben Spies, who teams up with Italian Andrea Iannone at the Pramac Ducati team for next year. Unlike Rossi a couple of years ago, Spies was unable to match Lorenzo's pace on track, with the Texan only taking victory in Assen Holland last year. With Rossi re-joining Jorge Lorenzo for the next two years, the Yamaha Factory team will have the strongest rider line-up in MotoGP. Recently the Italian stated that he sees himself as the team's second rider, with Lorenzo being Yamaha's leading man. One thing is for sure, Rossi is being reunited with his beloved, familiar and trusted Yamaha M1 bike. A bike he knows and a bike he can handle. Winning 46 Grand Prix races and four MotoGP World titles (2004, 2005, 2008 and 2009) with that bike, the 33 year old is surely poised to add some more victories and World titles to his impressive resumé
