The Government Of Nuevo Leon Recognize Esteban Gutierrez (VIDEO)

2013 Sauber F1 driver Esteban Gutierrez, who is set to make his F1 debut in this year's campaign, was recognized by the government of the state of Nuevo Leon for being the first driver born in that Mexican state to make it to Formula 1. The 21 year old received recognition from Nuevo Leon Governor Rodrigo Medina de la Cruz at the Palace of Government of Nuevo Leon. "It´s something very special because we realize that there is support from the state and that is something very important for us as athletes to work and do things together and from the sporting aspect it is also a motivation to continue moving forward, knowing that what we are doing and that all we can offer has a social benefit," Gutierrez commented.
