Behind the wheel of a Citroën DS3 RRC, the 2008 Canadian Grand Prix winner will compete in seven rounds of this year's WRC2. Before making his first appearance in the WRC2 at Rally de Portugal, Kubica will begin his 2013 programme at round three of the FIA European Rally Championship, the Rally Islas Canarias.
"I weighed up the different options before deciding on this programme," the former BMW and Renault F1 driver said. "I kept in touch with Citroën Racing and both sides were keen to continue working together. I’m really pleased now to be able to return to top-level racing. Taking part in Rally Islas Canarias will be an interesting challenge for me. I can’t wait to start racing, but I haven’t set myself any specific target. I still have a lot to learn in rallying and to improve I will need to rack up the miles on the stages.”
Great news! Robert #Kubica will enter @rislascanarias with a @citroenracing DS3 RRC! bit.ly/162B2D1 #FIAERC
