2013 Race Of Champions Cancelled Due To Unrest In Thailand

The 2013 Race Of Champions event, which was scheduled to take place later this month at Bangkok's Rajamangala Stadium, has been cancelled due to unrest in Thailand.

Clashes between Thai anti-government protesters and supporters of the country's Prime Minister have led to
the organisers of the 2013 Race Of Champions looking at options of continuing the success of last year's event in Bangkok on another date.

The annual race event celebrated its 25th consecutive year of competition in Bangkok in 2012 and saw the world's finest drivers from all the disciplines of competition such as Sebastian Vettel, Michael Schumacher, Ryan Hunter-Reay and Jamie Whincup competing against each other at the specially constructed asphalt circuit.

Motorsport fans who have already purchased tickets for this year's edition of the Race Of Champions are requested to contact Thai Ticket Major or their ticketing agent for further information on refunds.
