A 'bombshell', before the new Formula 1 season even has started. Infiniti Red Bull Racing's Daniel Ricciardo managed to better Lewis Hamilton's laptime on Sunday's episode of BBC's Top Gear.
The Australian became the latest F1 driver to appear as the 'Star in a Reasonably Priced Car' on the popular British TV show, driving the Suzuki Liana around the Surrey track.
With a laptime of 1.42.2 minutes, Ricciardo demoted 2014 F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton to second on the F1 board. The Briton, in his second attempt, set a 1.42.9 minutes in 2013 to beat then World Champion, Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber.
